Veteran Spotlight
For this Month’s #VeteranSpotlight we are proud to highlight Jeff Behimino, a former Electronics Technician in the U.S. Navy and current Senior Engineering Technician for The GBS Group supporting DDG-51 and LPD-17 Navigation and Integrated Bridge Control Systems. Jeff recently completed a ship navigation and steering control upgrade on an LPD which will allow the vessel to be certified to use electronic charts instead of paper charts.
While in the Navy, Jeff provided technical support with Exterior ship communications, Interior ship communications, Cryptographic equipment, Weather Radars, Electronic Security Systems, Computers and Computer Networks and navigation systems. He also was a Navy Instructor for Center for Surface Combat Systems Detachment West, where he taught High-Frequency Radio Group (HFRG) and Single Channel Ground Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS).
