GBS Awarded New Task Order to support NSWCPD Code 50

On 10 February 2022, The GBS Group was awarded a Task Order under the NSWC Philadelphia Division Code 50 Multiple Award IDIQ Contract that was awarded in April 2021. The $3.97M Task Order enables The GBS Group to continue providing Engineering and Technical Services in support of Code 516 for Cyber-secure Machinery Control Systems (MCS).

This requirement is for support to NSWCPD Code 516 (MCS – DDG 1000, LSD, MCM, and Advanced Damage Control Systems Branch) which is responsible for providing full life cycle engineering for the control and information systems on multiple ship classes, most applicable to LSD Advanced Engineering Control System (AECS), LSD Damage Control System (DCS), LSD Ballast Control System (BCS), LHD Damage Control System (DCS), and multi-platform Advanced Damage Control System (ADCS). Code 516 supports not only customers within the U.S. Navy but also U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
