Brenda Fryar

Brenda joined GBS in August 2025 and stepped into the Corporate Controller position in January 2026 overseeing all daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. She is a finance professional with more than 20 years of experience across accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A). Her background includes budgeting and forecasting, cash management, systems implementation, and process improvement, with a strong focus on building scalable financial operations that support organizational growth.

Throughout her career, Brenda has worked across a wide range of industries, including global communications, insurance, manufacturing, maritime transportation and logistics, and federal contracting. Her diverse background enables her to quickly adapt and drive impact in complex and evolving business environments.

Prior to joining GBS, Brenda, in her most recent role at WWC Global, led the implementation of a new ERP system and played a pivotal role in transforming the finance team to support rapid company growth and a successful acquisition. She managed the integration of multiple entities into a standardized financial structure, enhancing consistency, efficiency, and reporting capabilities. Brenda also led efforts to grow and develop the finance team to meet the demands of a fast-paced, expanding organization.

Brenda holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from William Paterson University.
