The GBS Group was recently awarded a prime contract supporting Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) for Wi-Fi and Networking services.

In December 2024, The GBS Group was awarded a five-year prime contract for HRT for Wi-Fi and Networking Services. HRT provides regional transportation services to the cities of Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth and Virginia Beach across fixed bus route, trolley, passenger ferry, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Paratransit, and light rail service modes. With this award, The GBS Group, along with our partner Mi Technical Solutions, will provide support to HRT, our local transportation agency.
